The only problem is that there is virtully no room for all of my fingers. It's hard to play chords because everything is squeezed together so tightly.

Waouwww. I know monsterandfriends are making a drum kit app (mpc500) for the iPhone. And now there's this.
We just need a keyboard(piano) app and something like garageband or ableton live on the iPhone and then we could be iPhone producers.

BUT... can you make it for left-handed guitarists like myself, Paul McCartney, Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix and more?

I don't think Kobain or Hendrix will be using this.

This is SUPER!!! I'm dying to see the updates. :-P
If there was one only who could translate the KORG KAOSSILATOR to the iPhone. That would tilt the iPhone up to the Professional studio level!
Just check this KORG out.
It has a similar touch pad as the iPhone!

I thought the iPhone's multi-touch could only recognize two individual touches at a time. This sounds like it would require a lot more than that to work properly. So how many is the hardware capable of?

I'm pretty sure it is technically capable of more than 2 at once.

No reason it can't remember touches, even if it only sees two fingers moving at a time. Tricky tricky tricky TRICKY!

This is pretty cool, and sounds surprisingly good. I'm looking forward to future versions as the programmer states he/she intends to add a control for the number of frets. I have pretty small fingers but it's difficult to not make mistakes since the frets are so close together. I'm having fun with it though.
