The new version also shows the progress of each individual photo uploading - which is a huge improvement.

Flock has photo uploading built-in.

Still no way to select and edit multiple images at the same time (image names, description etc)...
I've pretty much tried all the options on the market, and must say that the uploader in Flock is by far the best one.

I've been waiting for this since I moved to Intel. Been using 1001 since then, but I think this does the job better. Sure 1001 is a lot more than just an uploader, but that's the only thing I use it for. Thanks for the tip :)

Can I drag items around in the little viewer once added to the list? This is something that has been missing- just waiting to be added. Also; how about just linking to the images rather than slowly cache-ing them (moving the file around the harddisk) this causes trouble for large batch uploads.
Otherwise- I've tried a few alternative 'third party' Flickr Uploadr-s... i still prefer the beta version of this app. Still, we're getting close.

Ugh, my biggest gripes with Uploadr still haven't been addressed, namely:
- Cannot reorder items in the Photo list once imported. Argh.
- Cannot specify settings (besides image resolution) as defaults. ie. I want to default to Friends & Family, but must set this every single time I use the app!
Really, how hard is this to do? Hoping they'll fix this in 3.0.
